Flowers with a purpose
Wild Flora Farm is a twenty-two-acre flower farm and floral event design studio serving North Carolina’s Triangle of Durham, Raleigh, and our hometown, Chapel Hill.
A very special part of our flowers’ beauty and abundance is the presence of our bees! We strongly support state and national efforts to protect pollinators, and, working with Bee Downtown, we established an apiary in the spring of 2016.
By choosing Wild Flora, you’re supporting family farming, local agriculture, and the preservation of farmland in Orange County.
We sell our honey locally, and we announce where we’ll be throughout the year on social media and in our newsletter. Sometimes we even have rare (and delicious) purple honey!
A portion of the proceeds from the honey produced on the farm are donated to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

Meet Our TEAM
Our amazing team of farmer-florists design stunning, garden-inspired arrangements for special events, celebrations, and weddings. Come out and meet us at an on-farm wedding or special event, floral design workshop, seasonal flower u-pick, or honey tasting. We love sharing the beauty of the farm with others!

Kara Brewer
FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Kara is the visionary behind Wild Flora. Most days, you’ll find her out in the fields or in the greenhouse, planting and harvesting flowers. Kara is also your host at The Barn of Chapel Hill, our historic wedding and event venue originally built in 1864. She organized its transport and restoration from Marcy, New York, to our farm in the fall of 2016.
Christine Wilkinson
CREATIVE DIRECTOR AND LEAD FLORAL DESIGNER
Christine dreams up all the magic here at Wild Flora. Her specialty is taking your vision for a wedding or other special event and bringing it to life with beautiful, fresh flowers and customizations that turn your celebration into an experience for the senses. As our Lead Floral Designer, you’ll get to know Christine very well!
Lindsay Register
STUDIO MANAGER
As our studio manager, Lindsay is the go-to expert for workshops, our flower shop, and any questions you might have about our à la carte offerings. She connects with our community and works with Melissa to plan fantastic events here on the farm so that everyone has a chance to enjoy Wild Flora.
